The French Onion Soup Attempt

Onion soup was originally seen as food for poor people, as they were easy to prepare, especially onions that were one of the easiest ones to grow, according to Wikipedia. Nowadays, a lot more variations of the onion soup is available and recipes for it can be found all over the internet. It is now nearing winter. Despite the warmth that heaters provide at home, nothing beats a bowl of warm soup as a piece of comfort during the cold season.

This entry is our very first attempt at a french onion soup, which is pretty much easy to do! The recipe can be found at AllRecipe's French Onion Soup, but we might have used too much white wine tho. Oh, yes. That is still milk we had together with the soup. Swedes will have milk with anything, even soup!
