Nutrilett 5-Day Diet Meals




We love to cook and we have gained weight because of this, so we decided to cut one meal a day and just drink a pack of shake that is worthy of our taste buds =P

There are several popular brands of diet shakes available on the market here in Sweden. Allevo, Naturdiet, and Nutrilett are three of them. Nutrilett is our choice. Directly translated from their website, "Nutrilett Shake is a beverage powder which is mixed with cold water. All you need to shake up your meal is a sachet Nutrilett, water and a Nutrilett-shaker or a jar with a lid. Pour gladly up the smooth drink in a fancy glass, it feels meal more festive. Nutrilett Shake tastes like milkshake, but is of course vastly more useful."

"Nutrilett Shake's estimated five flavors: chocolate, strawberry, wild berry, mocha and vanilla. One serving contains 110-112 calories, depending on taste, and all the vitamins and minerals that your body needs."

Our favorite flavors are strawberry and chocolate. We have tried blueberry, but it just was not what we expected. Somehow, the flavors we prefer almost do taste like milkshake especially when we substitute it with real milk instead of water, but nothing beats a real meal if you want to know the truth!

Now, we move onto the 5-Day Diet Meal we have recently bought. The package contains:


  • 5 bags of vegetable stock
  • 5 bags of tomato juice
  • 3 bags of chocolate milkshake
  • 3 sachets vanilla desert
  • 2 bags of strawberry milkshake
  • 2 Caramel / toffeebarer
  • 2 nut / chocolate bars
  • 2 bags chocolate dessert
  • 2 bags of tomato paste
  • 2 bags of cheese pasta
  • 1 bag of chicken soup
  • 1 browniebar


The directions are attached in the box and for the first day, I had a shake for breakfast, a vegetable stock drink as a snack, a toffee bar for lunch, a tomato stock drink in the afternoon, chicken soup for dinner, and finally, vanilla pudding to complete the day's all-time lowest calorie count: 800. 

By the end of the 2nd day, we wanted to cry. We continued and completed the entire 5-day plan, though. Our friends said that we started to look like we were indeed losing weight. After this cleansing period, as we prefer to call it, we took a break because you are not supposed to do this several times in a row. You would have to go back to consuming the required daily amount of calories after this 5-day plan. We will start again after next week, and we will see how that goes!
