Kelda - Amerikansk BBQ Sauce (Kelda's American Barbecue Sauce)
Today, I decided to open Kelda's American Barbeque Sauce we purchased from ICA Maxi Stormarknad the other day. It has a rich taste, and texture based on Crème Fraiche.
Ingredients
400g Chicken Fillet
Pinch of Salt
Kelda's American Barbeque Sauce
(Amerikansk Barbeque Sås)
1 tsp. Oregano
Olive Oil
Directions
- Using the olive oil, pan fry the chicken fillets on medium to high heat for about half an hour (adding the salt from the very start).
- When cooked, add Kelda's Amerikansk BBQ Sås on low to medium heat.
- Leave for another 15-20 minutes until the sauce has curdled up a little.
- Stir occasionally.
- Serve with rice, vegetables, and oregano.
The directions on the packaging says that it should be served as a sauce to grilled or fried meat, but I find that this preparation (frying this Crème Fraiche-based sauce with the chicken) is a better alternative for our taste buds. Hope you enjoy this one!
