Tuna Mayo on Whole Wheat Pasta
Tonight, we took a break from cooking red meat, and decided to have fish on our "menu". This is a very easy meal to prepare, usually served with bread, or a side dish of vegetables or even potatoes. Total preparation time was about 15 to 20 minutes. Enjoy!
Ingredients
Two (2) red onions
Two (2) ripe apples
Three (3) cans of tuna, about 180 grams each
3 dl Mayonnaise, lemon-flavored if possible
A pinch of salt
Grated Cheese, according to taste
400 Grams Whole Wheat Pasta

Directions
- Open the cans of tuna, pour out the water or oil. Put all the contents into a mixing bowl.
- Dice the red onions and apples, add to the bowl with tuna.
- Mix in the mayonnaise, add a little more if desired.
- Add the salt and cheese.
- Leave in the fridge while preparing the pasta.
- Boil the whole wheat pasta in a casserole and strain when al dente.
- Serve with more cheese, if desired.
