Homemade Chao Fan-inspired recipe.
Prep time: 25 minutes
Bulgur
- 5 dl. water
- 2 dl. bulgur
Boil the water, add the bulgur, then switch to medium heat. Let it cook for about 10 minutes, and prepare the dumplings as well as the fried mix.

Dumplings
- 3 tbsps. water
- 1 tbsp. oil
- frozen dumplings
Pour water and oil into the pan, and place all the dumplings. Let it also cook for about 10 minutes, and prepare the fried mix.

Fried Mix
- 60 grams salted butter
- 200 grams sausage of preferred meat, sliced
- 2 eggs
- 2 white onions, finely chopped
- 200 grams mixed frozen vegetables
- 1 tbsp. Teriyaki sauce
- 2 tbsps. soy sauce
- 1 tbsp. Crème Fraiche
- Fry the eggs slightly with 10 grams salted butter. When they start to stick, remove from pan and set aside.
- Fry the onions in high heat with 50 grams salted butter, for about 3 minutes.
- Add the meat, keep frying with the onions until cooked.
- Check on the bulgur and dumplings.
- When meat is cooked, add the mixed vegetables.
- Add teriyaki and soy sauce.
- By this time, the bulgur should be done so add it into the fried mix.
- Add the slightly fried eggs.
- Keep tossing the mix for another 2 to 3 minutes.
- Serve in a bowl. Place the dumplings on top with added seasoning (that came with the dumplings), and a spoon of Crème Fraiche as an option.
