Warm Choklad

Today, we whipped up two ginormous glasses of warm chocolate topped off with a thick layer of whipped cream under 10 minutes, for our second-year anniversary. They are called warm choklad med grädde, if directly translated from Swedish. The whipped cream was so thick, we might as well call it The Princess Chocolate (this is in relation to our previous post about The Princess Cake).

We had this as dessert after eating breakfast, and while listening to the radio. Later, we will walk around town and do a little shopping to burn off some of the calories we consumed drinking these.

Making them is very easy!

Ingredients

  1. Milk
  2. O'boy
  3. Cream

Directions

  1. Boil milk.
  2. Add O'boy and keep mixing until the chocolate powder blends with the milk.
  3. Pour onto a glass.
  4. Put the whipped cream on top.
  5. Sprinkle some cinnamon or more chocolate powder on top, if you want.

Availability of Ingredients

  1. O'boy is one of the most popular chocolate powder drinks in Sweden. In the Philippines, Milo or Nesquik can be used instead.
  2. Type of milk does not matter, as long as it is not flavored because there are fruit and milk variations sold in the Philippines such as Melon, Strawberry, and sometimes, with tea.
